Harlequins rugby director John Kingston stated that his team will be desperate to seal a quarter-final berth when they take on Edinburgh in the upcoming European Challenge Cup encounter at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.

The Quins currently top Pool 5 with 17 points from four matches and a bonus point win on Saturday will take them to the top eight but it won't be an easy task against an in-form Edinburgh side, who have 15 points from four games.

A wrist injury to fly-half Nick Evans and an ankle injury to Will Collier will see them replaced by Tim Swiel and Kyle Sinckler respectively.

The final of the last season saw Harlequins losing 19-26 against Montpellier and Kingston said the team is desperate to go the the distance this year.

"We are very much looking forward to returning to our European campaign," said Kingston.

"The hurt of losing in the (Challenge Cup) final last season still lies with the squad.

"We are well aware of the threat that Edinburgh pose, but we will be doing everything we can to take major steps towards the knockout stages."

After their encounter against Edinburgh, Harlequins will lock horns against Stade Francais Paris in Round 6 on 22nd January.
