New Zealand international Francis Saili has joined Aviva Premiership club Harlequins ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The former New Zealand Under 20 made his professional rugby debut with Auckland and was part of the Super Rugby side Blues between 2012 and 2015 before joining Pro 12 club Munster.

Saili came up with a man of the match performance for the Thomond Park outfit in the semi-final against Ospreys, which his side went on to win 23-3.

The 26-year-old managed just two appearances for the All Blacks that came in 2013.

"Francis is an extremely exciting signing who I know our fans will really enjoy watching," director of rugby John Kingston said.

"Alongside his obvious talent, he will help balance the squad further by being available for us all season, which is just as important, given our ambitions as a club."
