Scorecard

Darcy Graham scored a double including the decisive final try in the 75th minute as Scotland registered 29-25 win over Wales at Avchala Stadium on Tuesday in the fifth place semi-final of U20 Championship 2017 tournament.

After the first 13 minutes went without a point, Will Jones got Wales off the mark with a 14th minute try but Scotland bounced back strong with back-to-back tries that came from Graham and Ross McCann in the 20th and 27th minute respectively.

Scotland's lead of nine points was cut down to two points after Ioan Nicholas rumbled past the post followed by a conversion from Arwel Robson. However, it was Scotland, who had the advantage at half time with a seven point after their third try that came through Callum Hunter-Hill in the 34th minute.

Connor Eastgate kicked his first penalty in the 55th minute but Robson's three pointers on either side reduced the gap to four points between the teams.

Robson extended the momentum with a converted try that came in the 69th minute to take Wales to a slender three point lead but Graham replied back six minutes later with his second try to complete a four point victory.
