France Women 53-14 USA Women, Torero Stadium, San Diego

France ran a seven-try riot as they trounced USA 53-14 in the final round of the Women's Super Series at Torero Stadium on Sunday.

This is France's second win from four games as they finish third in the table while USA with their third defeat languished at the bottom of the table.

Jessy Trémoulière with a third minute penalty got France off the mark and with her second three-pointer in the 24th minute, the scoreline became 6-0. The opening try of the game came in the 27th minute when Madoussou Fall touched down and Emeline Gros followed the suit.

Tremouliere also kicked both the conversions as France went into the break with a 20-0 lead.

The second half started in a similar fashion to the first with Céline Ferer scoring France's third try and Laure Sansus also dotted down to make the scoreline 34-0.

USA finally managed to get off the mark with a converted try from Alev Kelter in the 65th minute but that was cancelled out by Cyrielle Banet to take the scoreline 41-7.

There was no respite whatsoever for USA with Marine Ménager crossing over and another try for Sansus taking France's tally past the 50-point mark before Jacoby scored a consolation try for USA to reduce the losing margin to 39 points.
