France will miss the services of Jefferson Poirot and Wenceslas Lauret for the final round of the Six Nations clash against Italy to be played in Rome on Saturday.

Both Lauret and Poirot played just 11 and 17 minutes respectively in the game against Ireland last weekend in Dublin before leaving the field with knee injuries.

Jacques Brunel's men were down by 26-0 in the previous game against Ireland before they managed to avoid an embarrassment with late tries from Yoann Huget and Camille Chat.

The only victory France managed in the four rounds of the tournament was against Scotland when they defeated them 27-10 in Paris and are positioned fifth in the table with six points.
