Worcester Warriors has confirmed the signing of fly-half Dorian Jones on loan from Pro 14 club Dragons.

The 25-year-old made his professional rugby debut with Dragons in 2013 and has racked up 66 appearances for the Welsh regional side scoring 208 points in it. He will switch to Sixways with immediate effect as they look to improve from the 10th position in the Aviva Premiership.

Worcester Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons is delighted to have the services of Jones in the business end of the tournament.

“Dorian is an experienced fly-half and will give our squad much-needed depth in a key position as we prepare for some very important games between now and the end of the campaign.”

Meanwhile, Jones is looking forward to his Aviva Premiership debut and help Worcester end the season on a high.

“I am excited to be joining Warriors until the end of the season and will be working hard to make a good impression and help the side.”

Dragons head coach Bernard Jackman is confident that the time with Worcester Warriors will benefit Jones.

“This is a great opportunity for Dorian to get some regular rugby and we would like to wish him all the best for the remainder of the season.”
