Rugby league convert and Sale Sharks winger Denny Solomona was called-up to the England squad for the upcoming tour of Argentina in June.

We take a look at five other players, who went on to represent the red rose team after switching codes.

JASON ROBINSON

The most successful of all code breakers, Robinson's footwork, speed and acceleration were devastating.

SAM BURGESS

Returned to league after one failed season in which he was fast-tracked into the England team with little justification.

BEN TE'O

May have followed a less heralded route, but there are signs that he might be the player England hoped Burgess would become.

ANDY FARRELL

A superstar for Great Britain and Wigan, but by the time he joined Saracens and played for England injuries had taken their toll.

HENRY PAUL

Played six times for England and on one occasion was replaced only 26 minutes into a match against Australia - his final international appearance
