Fiji have been the biggest gainer in the World Rugby Rankings following their 14-21 win over France in the final round of the November series that came to a conclusion last weekend.

Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova scored tries for Fiji while Ben Volavola contributed with 11 points as they overshadowed Jacques Brunel's side. The win meant Fiji gained 1.55 rating points as they climbed past Argentina and France to eighth place.

Argentina, who lost to Scotland 14-9 and France now hold the 10th and ninth spot in the table while there has been no change in the position for the top seven teams.

New Zealand finish 2018 as top ranked side with 92.54 rating points with their only defeat in the campaign coming against Ireland with Joe Schmidt's side ending with second position with 91.17 rating points.

The third and fourth place has been retained by Wales and England respectively along with South Africa form the first five slots.

A dismal year for Australia meant the head to 2019 as sixth ranked side and is closely followed by Scotland at seventh place.
