Canterbury and England Rugby today put the launch of the England Rugby World Cup shirt in the hands of their most committed supporters, giving them the exclusive chance to reveal the shirt before anybody else on Monday 6th July.

For the first time ever, committed fans of the England Rugby team will exclusively reveal the shirt Stuart Lancaster’s men will wear on the hallowed Twickenham turf as the nation prepares to get behind the rose during the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Open to all, England Rugby fans can click to commit by visiting Canterbury’s Facebook and Twitter pages and www.canterbury.com. Those who sign up will be the very first to reveal the new design through their own social media feeds on launch day, before Canterbury and England Rugby unveil the shirt  at Twickenham Stadium.

The ground-breaking shirt launch forms part of Canterbury’s Committed to the Rose campaign which brings to life the brand’s commitment to the game in this special Rugby World Cup year. 

Speaking about the fan-owned 2015 Rugby World Cup shirt launch, Canterbury CEO, Chris Stephenson, said; “This unique shirt launch continues to demonstrate how the fans are at the heart of our campaign as the nation commits to the rose. We share their passion for rugby and are proud to continue Canterbury’s commitment to the game in an innovative and exciting way”.

With over 100 years of rugby expertise, the Canterbury team have designed the most innovative England shirt yet to help Stuart Lancaster's men put in their best performance at the Rugby World Cup on home soil.

Speaking about the relationship between the fans and the national team, England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: “The rose and the shirt unites the players and the fans. You cannot underestimate the power of the nation’s support and commitment and the effect it has on the squad.  The players value the relationship they have with the fans and it will be great to have them join us when the new shirt is unveiled in July.”
