Wasps scrum-half Dan Robson will miss England's final round Six Nations clash against Scotland at Twickenham Stadium this weekend following an illness.

The 26-year-old, who made his international debut during the competition against France has played just two Tests - both coming from the bench - and managed to score a try in the previous round against Italy.

With Danny Care and Richard Wigglesworth already sidelined with injuries, England coach Eddie Jones has recalled Saracens' Ben Spencer in the squad.

This also means Ben Youngs, who made a start in every game for the red rose team in the Championship will once again be the preferred choice and is set to become the most-capped scrum-half for England.

England are currently at the second position in the table with three wins from four games and need to beat Scotland to have any chance of winning the Six Nations title provided Wales lose their final game to Ireland.
