England Women are scheduled to take on Australia, Canada and New Zealand in International Women's series in June.

All three Tests will be played in New Zealand and will aid the team in their preparations ahead of the World Cup 2017 in Ireland in August.

England Women head coach Simon Middleton believes the series will be ideal for them to get into groove for the all important World Cup title defence.

"We are delighted to be part of the International Women's Series in New Zealand this summer," said Middleton.

"To be the best we have to play the best. Travelling to New Zealand, a fantastic rugby nation, to take on three of the best sides in the world will provide us with the ideal preparation for the World Cup in August."

England will play the three games on 9th, 13th and 17th June against Australia, Canada and New Zealand respectively.
