As England eye their 13th consecutive victory when they take on Argentina at Twickenham on Saturday, we take a look at few of the key points.

TWELVE AND COUNTING

Eddie Jones' England are creeping ever closer to the nation's record number of Test wins of 14 set under Sir Clive Woodward and will draw level with the World Cup-winning team should they topple Argentina and Australia. Jones sees no value in discussing the record, describing it only as media talk, but it remains a special milestone.

LACKING CLASS

Jones insists England have failed to produce a single world-class player since Jonny Wilkinson and it is hard to dispute his claim. There is genuine optimism, however, that a number of the current squad will soon be elevated into that category - among them Owen Farrell, George Ford and Billy Vunipola.

JUST HOW GOOD IS DALY?

Elliot Daly has excelled against South Africa and Fiji this autumn, swapping between outside centre and left wing to demonstrate in the first two starts of his international career that he can perform a vital utility role for England. By the time Australia have been and gone on December 3, his true quality will be known.

KRUIS BACK AT LOCK

Just as Joe Launchbury is banned for two weeks for kicking a Fijian opponent in the head, George Kruis returns from the ankle surgery that threatened to end his involvement in the autumn series. Kruis has not played since Saracens' victory over Toulon, but he is confident he will be able to hit the ground running.

PUMAS RUNNING ON EMPTY

Argentina have completed over 50 long-haul flights due to their Rugby Championship commitments and the Jaguares' participation in Super Rugby. It has been an exhausting year and the challenge is to tap into their reserves of stamina for one final hurrah.
