England hopefuls waiting for Eddie's call

So the Lions Leaks are now finished. Players like Jamie Roberts and Dylan Hartley just two of the senior players seeing their fortunes ebb and flow as rumours gained pace.

For England’s Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson, a real boost having seen their names under the rumour microscope for the past 2 weeks. In Scotland, a year that promised so much yet fizzled out but massive credit to Seymour and Hogg.

The Welsh selections for the Lions more than expected and great to see World Rugby’s CEO provide the biggest leak with Sam Warburton named as captain. A real surprise was perhaps Ireland’s Ian Henderson selected ahead of fellow Irish lock, Donnacha Ryan.

There will be huge disappointment amongst many and for TalkingRugbyUnion, it is Joe Launchbury’s omission; his performances in the 6 Nations were monumental, worthy of many a MOTM. So Eddie Jones now has available Launchbury and Hartley for the tour to Argentina. There will be plenty of other English players waiting for that call from Eddie tomorrow morning
