England head coach Eddie Jones heaped praise on Gloucester wing Jonny May for his performances in the two-match Test series in Argentina.

The 27-year-old was a part of the starting line-up on both the games and was instrumental in England winning the series 2-0. He was also one of the four try-scorer for the red rose team in the first game in Santa Fe.

Jones pointed out improvement in May's decision making skill as the reason behind his success.

“When you see players make better decisions it’s a great part of coaching," said Jones to England's official website.

“Take Jonny May for example. We had turnover ball, he got the ball and put in a lovely left foot grubber that took us 15 metres to the corner, he made the tackle to put the player into touch and we scored a line-out maul.

“He made a great decision. Maybe 12 months ago he wouldn’t have done that.”

England's next international assignment will be during the November Tests when they host Argentina, Australia and Samoa in successive weekends.
