Interim coach of Edinburgh, Duncan Hodge is confident that his side can emerge victorious when they on Zebre in their upcoming Pro 12 encounter in Parma on Saturday.

Edinburgh are placed 10th in the table with three wins from 11 games while Zebre are languishing at the bottom after winning a solitary encounter this season.

However, Hodge's men are coming from a 12-25 defeat against their rivals Glasgow Warriors last weekend, thereby conceding the 1872 Cup to the Scotstoun based club.

Edinburgh have made six changes to their line-up including the addition of prop Allan Dell for Alasdair Dickinson.

Admitting the defeat against Glasgow Warriors did hurt his team, Hodge also revealed that the players have move on from the encounter and are currently focussed on taking on Zebre.

"It's been a tight turnaround from the Glasgow game, but the players have refocused quickly on the task at hand, which is a tough away clash with Zebre.

"They're a physical outfit and always raise their game in front of their home crowd, so there's no doubt we're in for an challenging encounter in Parma.

"There's a bit of rotation in the starting side, but we're fully confident that this team can take on Zebre in all areas of the game."
