Scorecard

Denny Solomona scored a hat-trick of tries to lead Sale Sharks to a 34-28 win against Wasps at the Salford City Stadium during the Aviva Premiership rugby clash on Sunday.

The Sharks riding on Solomona's hat-trick took a decisive 15-point lead at the end of the first-half.

However, Josh Bassett (47), Ashley Johnson (53) and Kurtley Beale (68) crossed over the try line for the visitors to give them a glimmer of hope.

Mark Jennings with his 42nd minute converted try along with Will Addison's 57th minute penalty gave just enough cushion to Sharks as they bagged a six-point win.

The only consolation for tournament leaders was the losing bonus point gained which extends their advantage over Saracens at the top of the table to six points.
