Newcastle Falcons flanker Dan Temm has confirmed that he will be switching to RFU Championship side Ealing Trailfinders ahead of the next season.

Temm left New Zealand as a teenage cricketer and had represented England Sevens rugby team after securing qualification through an English mother. He has made 22 appearances for Newcastle Falcons out of which four were in Aviva Premiership.

Temm is looking forward to his stint with Ealing and is confident of achieving success.

"I've joined Ealing Trailfinders to become part of an exciting top-three club," Temm told the west London club's official website.

"I know the club has big ambitions and I want to be a part of that.

"I'm looking forward to building on the hard work the boys have put in this year.

"The club has made some great signings and I'm excited to see how we come together as a group and a club to have a big season."

Newcastle director of rugby Dean Richards said: "We thank Dan for his efforts during his time with the club, and wish him all the best for his move to Ealing."
