Worcester Warriors 6-32 Northampton Saints, Sixways
Scorecard

Dan Biggar contributed with 20 points as Northampton Saints completed a 6-32 win over Worcester Warriors in the ongoing season of Gallagher Premiership at Sixways on Friday.

The win has taken Northampton Saints to sixth position in the table with 21 points while Worcester are at 10th place with 17 points.

The Saints got off to a promising start when Biggar slotted three penalties in the first 21 minutes to get them to a 0-9 lead before Duncan Weir, who recently signed a contract extension with the Warriors slotted a three-pointer at the half-hour mark.

Weir's effort was negated by a fourth penalty kick from Biggar just before the break as the Saints had a nine points lead at the end of the first half.

The Worcester fly-half missed a couple of penalties early in the game but managed to get his second after the restart as the gap came down to six points but Northampton held firm.

Tries from Cobus Reinach and Luther Burrell in the 57th and 77th minutes respectively along with Biggar's conversion and two penalties ensured Chris Boyd's side completed a comfortable 6-32 win.

The Saints will take on Exeter Chiefs at Franklin's Gardens while the Warriors will head to Allianz Park to take on Saracens in the next round on 29th December.
