Crusaders head coach Scott Roberson has made one change for the Super Rugby final clash against Lions to be played in Christchurch on Saturday.

Flanker Jordan Taufua, who left the field in the 19th minute during the semi-final against Hurricanes has been ruled out of the game with Heiden Bedwell-Curtis taking his place.

Sam Anderson-Heather has been named on the bench where he replaces injured Sebastian Siataga, who also suffered a fractured arm in last weekend's game.

Crusaders have a terrific record against Lions after beating the South African side nine out of the last 10 encounters but the last three games have been closer with the winning margin, not more than eight points.

Crusaders: David Havili, Seta Tamanivalu, Jack Goodhue, Ryan Crotty, George Bridge, Richie Mo’unga, Bryn Hall, Kieran Read, Matt Todd, Heiden Bedwell-Curtis, Sam Whitelock (c), Scott Barrett, Owen Franks, Codie Taylor, Joe Moody

Replacements: Sam Anderson-Heather, Tim Perry, Michael Alaalatoa, Luke Romano, Pete Samu, Mitchell Drummond, Mitchell Hunt, Braydon Ennor
