Leinster continued their impressive form in the ongoing season of Pro14 as they trounced Edinburgh 31-7 in Dublin on Saturday.

The win has taken Leinster to the top of the Conference A table with 16 points while Edinburgh are languishing at the bottom of the table with a solitary win from four games.

Winger Fergus McFadden got the first points in the game with a 16th minute try for Leinster that was improved by Johnny Sexton that took them to a 7-0 lead.

The Irish regional side stretched their lead to 12 points with their second try coming in the 38th minute through winger James Lowe but Sexton missed out on the conversion.

The response from the visitors came with a 45th minute try from Magnus Bradbury that was converted by Jaco van der Walt but that remained the only points in the game for Edinburgh in the game.

Leinster extended their domination in the final 30 minutes with Jordan Larmour strolling past the line and Sexton, who added the extras also managed a converted try in the 64th minute to make it 26-7 and a red-card to Edinburgh's Pierre Schoeman in the 71st minute saw Garry Ringrose cap off a 31-7 win for the hosts.
