Zebre 16 - 20 Benetton Treviso, Parma

Dean Budd scored a 69th minute try as Benetton Treviso went on to edge out Zebre 16-20 in their Pro 14 encounter in Parma on Saturday.

Fly-half Carlo Canna kicked a second-minute penalty to begin the proceedings for Zebre but Benetton Treviso soon went on to level the scores fives minutes later through a penalty goal from Marty Banks.

With not much happening in the remainder of the first half, the teams were tied at 3-3 before Banks' second penalty at the stroke of half time provided the visitors with a slender three-point but that was canceled out by Canna's 39th-minute penalty as the scores remained levelled 6-6.

Fullback Jayden Hayward once again provided Benetton the lead with a try at the start of the second half that was improved by Banks but once again Zebre went on to level the scores riding on a touchdown from winger Mattia Bellini in the 49th minute while Marcello Violi added the extras.

The scores remained 13-13 as the fourth quarter kicked-off and a second penalty from Violi in the 67th minute put Zebre three points clear.

This is when Budd scored the decisive try in the 70th minute while Ian McKinley kicked the conversion to seal a thrilling four point win for Treviso.
