Scorecard

A three-try second half performance allowed Bordeaux Begles to come from behind and seal a 28-13 victory over Ulster in the European Champions Cup game at Stade Chaban-Delmas on Sunday.

Ulster had a lead over Bordeaux Begles for most part of the game but what transpired in the final minutes left Les Kiss' men in complete shock as they conceded three tries.

Fly-half Ian Madigan took Bordeaux Begles to an early lead with a penalty in the second minute. Wing Andrew Trimble's try in the 20th minute allowed Ulster to take the lead which was further strengthened by fly-half Paddy Jackson after he added a conversion and a penalty to take a 3-10 lead at half time.

Madigan reduced the gap further by three points with a penalty in the 44th minute following which Jackson and replacement fly half Lionel Beauxis exchanged kicks as the scoreline became 9 - 13 in favour of Ulser.

When replacement, Sebastien Taofifenua strolled across the post in the 73rd minute, Bordeaux Begles managed to take a lead of one point which got compounded to two more tries following Sean Reidy's sin-bin for tackling off the ball as the French team won the game 28-13.
