Auckland Blues have confirmed that Eden Park will be hosting all the club's home games during the upcoming Super Rugby Aotearoa competition.

As the Super Rugby tournament was suspended following the pandemic coronavirus, the New Zealand board decided to have their own revamped competition involving their five local teams.

The competition will run for 10 weeks with two teams every weekend and will be played under closed stadium.

“We are pleased to be back playing at our home and we are hopeful that we will be able to invite our fans to join us in this great stadium later in the competition,” said Blues CEO Andrew Hore.

“We want to thank Eden Park and Auckland Rugby for their support and now we look forward to producing some great Blues rugby at the traditional home of the Blues.”

The Blues will kick-off their campaign with a clash against Hurricanes at Eden Park in Auckland on 14th June.
