Sale Sharks 20-20 Toulouse, AJ Bell Stadium

Scrum half Sebastien Bezy kicked the decisive penalty as Toulouse came from behind to draw the game against Sale Sharks 20-20 in their European Challenge Cup encounter at AJ Bell Stadium on Friday.

After the first 13 minutes went without a point, flanker Semi Kunatani crossed over to get Toulouse off the mark while Bezy kicked the conversion to take them to a 7-0 lead.

Even though Sale Sharks bounced back through a penalty from Faf de Klerk in the 23rd minute, Bezy contributed with a converted try 10 minutes later. At the stroke of half time, England international Denny Solomona went past the line to help Sale Sharks reduce the trail to 10-14 leading into the second half.

Steve Diamond's men carry forwarded their momentum after restart as they claimed the lead for the first time in the game when Bryn Evans strolled past the post as they had a slender three-point by the end of the 50th minute.

Bezy's first penalty in the 54th minute helped Toulouse level the scores but his efforts were negated by de Klerk's second penalty as Sale Sharks maintained their three point lead heading into the final 10 minutes. This is when Bezy kicked the decisive penalty in the 73rd minute to help Toulouse to a 20-20 draw.
