England scrum-half Ben Youngs revealed that his celebration after scoring a try against Australia in the recently concluded clash at Twickenham on Saturday was to give a nod to Billy Vunipola indicating their one-sided battles in video games.

Vunipola missed the game against Wallabies with a knee injury and is also a doubtful starter for the Six Nations tournament but was present with the squad as Eddie Jones' men completed a 37-21 victory on Saturday to extend their winning streak to 14 games.

Youngs, who scored the third try in the game for England showed individual brilliance as he quickly tapped and sped off after they were awarded a penalty and used Marland Yarde as a bait to fox the Australian defence and cross over.

"Me and Billy have spent a fair amount of hours while in camp playing FIFA and I normally beat him 8-0 and give a good celebration like that. So that was a little shout-out to him as he was with the team still," Youngs said.

"Obviously I'm pleased to have scored but the main thing is the result. Marland was outside me and he'd already scored so I wasn't going to give it to him.

"The opportunity arose, I took it. Obviously had Marland not been there the defender wouldn't have fallen for the dummy."

Youngs also played a significant role in the game against South Africa where he had set up two tries and Jones had high praise for the 27-year-old, who he picked as the player of the series along with Courtney Lawes.

The Leicester Tigers scrum-half credited Jones for his success.

"I am really enjoying my rugby and that's credit to Eddie. He's not letting me have any chocolate!" Youngs said.

"When I first turned up he said I needed to be lighter and leaner. The way the game is going, it is quicker and faster and he needed me to operate at a higher level than what I was operating at.

"When a coach tells you to lose a couple of kilos there could be a lot worse things to work on. Just cut down on portions and you are near enough there."
