Bath Rugby lock Mike Williams has been suspended for four weeks following his red-card incident during the recently concluded Gallagher Premiership game against Gloucester.

The 29-year-old was sent-off in the 52nd minute for a high tackle on Gloucester full-back Kyle Moyle by referee Wayne Barnes and appeared before an independent disciplinary panel where he accepted the charges.

As a result, Williams will be out of action until 23rd of March which will see him miss the matches against Northampton, Exeter, Newcastle and Worcester.

Meanwhile, Val Rapava-Ruskin, who also had a red card in the early stages of the game for a tackle on Josh Bayliss has been suspended for three week games and will miss Gloucester's games against Worcester, Wasps and Leicester.

Bristol Bears' Sam Bedlow, who was sin-binned in the 2nd minute during the 34-34 draw against London Irish for a tip tackle on Theo Brophy-Clews has been suspended for three weeks and will miss the club's Premiership games against Leicester, Worcester and Wasps.
