Australia have received a shot in the arm ahead of the Bledisloe Cup clash against New Zealand with flanker David Pocock cleared for a return.

The Brumbies star has been on the sidelines for a month after sustaining a hand injury during the Rugby Championship match against Argentina in Perth.

In their recent clashes in the Rugby Championship, All Blacks thrashed Wallabies in both the games. However, New Zealand flanker Jerome Kaino urged the team not to be complacent and insisted that Pocock's addition will add more muscle to the Wallabies' team.

"They've got more competitive at the breakdown, and if they have David Pocock back that will just add more steel to what they already had,' said Kaino.

"They've got a lot stronger.

"But we're a lot better as well. What we've learned is how we prepare during the week. Although a lot will be said in the media about how we'll easily beat them, it's important we don't believe that."

Despite, their setbacks earlier in the tournament, Wallabies found form and managed to win three out of the remaining four matches to finish second in the Rugby Championship 2016 which would have provided some relief to head coach Michael Cheika, who also saw his team whitewashed by England 3-0.

In the 598 games between the two games, Australia have managed to win just 48 Tests and in the last 30 years, Wallabies have never managed to defeat All Blacks at Eden Park.

However, Australia have played spoilsport to New Zealand's winning streak earlier and Kaino is wary of it. In 2010, Australia brought New Zealand's 15-match winning streak to a halt and four years later they brought an end to the 17-match winning streak of All Blacks.

"They do rise to the challenges, and this is one of them," Kaino said.

"We've spoken about that they will be better and they will rise to the occasion.

"We know they're not going to lie down. There's nothing more they'd like than to spoil our party.

"Australia will be a different beast this time round, a lot better than when we played them last in Wellington."
