Argentina head coach Mario Ledesma has made three changes for the fourth round of the Rugby Championship clash against Australia scheduled to be played in Gold Coast on Saturday.

Flanker Pablo Matera earns promotion from the bench to take the number six position with Tomas Lezana dropped out of the matchday23 squad.

In the front-row Santiago Medrano is named at tighthead with Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro moving across to loosehead and as a result Santiago Garcia Botta shifts to the bench after playing 58 minutes in the game against New Zealand last weekend in Nelson.

The final change sees Martin Landajo dropping to reserve with Gonzalo Bertranou taking his place at scrum-half as the Pumas look to bring their Rugby Championship campaign back on track.

Argentina are currently positioned third in the table with four points and recently they brought an end to a 11-game losing streak when they went on to beat Springboks 32-19 in Mendoza in the second round of the competition.
