England could miss the services of Worcester Warriors centre Ben Te'o in the upcoming autumn internationals following an ankle injury.

The 30-year-old suffered the blow during the third minute of his club's European Challenge Cup encounter against Brive and will need at least four weeks of rehabilitation according to head coach Carl Hogg.

"Ben's unfortunately got a syndesmosis injury of his ankle. He's being assessed currently and will head back down to Cardiff on Monday to see whether he'll go down a surgical route or whether it'll be managed conservatively," Hogg said.

"He's expected to be out for at least a month, but we'll find out more next week once the swelling has settled down and it'll give us a better idea of time-frames."

England will face Argentina, Australia, and Samoa on 11th, 18th, and 25th November respectively at Twickenham.
