Northampton Saints have confirmed the signing of Andy Symons from Aviva Premiership rivals Gloucester Rugby ahead of the next season.

Symons made his professional rugby debut in 2013 for Worcester Warriors and switched to Gloucester Rugby in 2016 and has overall made 36 appearances in Aviva Premiership until now.

"I can't wait to have such as passionate group of supporters behind me next year," Symons told to Northampton website.

"Saints' ambition to succeed is clear to see from the players and coaches they've already got on board, and I want to play my part."

Northampton Saints are currently at the 10th position in the Aviva Premiership with 32 points while Gloucester Rugby is at sixth place with 51 points.
