All Blacks and Hurricanes wing Nehe Milner-Skudder has confirmed that his rehabilitation period after the shoulder surgery will prohibit him from from playing rugby until next year where he is aiming to make a comeback for the Hurricanes in next season's Super Rugby competition.

The 25-year-old outside back dislocated the joint during the Super Rugby clash against the Blues at Eden Park in March and had to undergo surgery.

Earlier, the initial diagnosis suggested that it was possible for the 2015 Rugby World Cup winning team key member to make a comeback this August, however, he made a short announcement on his official Instagram account about his non availability.

Milner-Skudder made his way into Hansen's All Blacks squad last year following a series of impressive performances in Super Rugby and sealed a spot on the right wing.

He was also one of the try scorers for the All Blacks during their 34-17 World Cup final victory over Australia.
