All Blacks v England - All Blacks team named

The All Blacks team to play England has been named. There is no room for either Dan Carter or Luke Romano returning from injury, while Malakai Fekitoa has missed out to Sonny Bill Williams with Ryan Crotty claiming the reserve utility back position.

Aaron Cruden starts at first five eighth. Thoughts?

SBW is good enough to start, but you have to feel for young Fekitoa. I wonder what will happen if an outside back gets injured? 

I assume Barrett got his place on the bench instead of starting as he can play at first five eighth or he will play at fullback with Dagg moving to the wing if needed. I would have been tempted to put Thrush and Vito on the bench ahead of Tuipulotu and Messam.

Dan Carter is a better player than Cruden and Barrett when fit. Obviously they didn't feel he was fit enough, because he looked great against the USA.

What are your thoughts on the All Blacks team to play England?

All Blacks team to play England: Crockett, Coles, Owen Franks, Retallick, Whitelock, Kaino, McCaw (captain), Read, Aaron Smith, Cruden, Savea, Williams, Conrad and Ben Smith and Dagg.

The reserves are Mealamu, Ben Franks, Faumuina, Tuipolotu, Messam, Perenara, Barrett and Crotty.
