In response, the Wallabies managed to score just a converted try and a penalty.

Wallabies fly-half Bernard Foley missed out on a golden opportunity to score the first points for his side as his penalty attempt hooked to the left of the posts.

All Blacks right-wing Israel Dagg scored the first try of the match for the hosts on the sixth minute following a pass coming from fullback Ben Smith. However, Beauden Barrett failed to slot the conversion.

Anton Lienert-Brown scored the second try for the hosts as the outside-centre made an excellent intercept in the midfield to break clear. Barrett failed to land another conversion as the scoreline remained intact on 10-0.

Rory Arnold scored the first try for the visitors on the 28th minute as the Number-4 lock rumbled through and then stretched out to touch the ball down over the try line.

TJ Perenara scored the third five-pointer for the hosts after the scrum-half charged down a Reece Hodge kick. Barrett missed his third straight conversion as the scoreboard remained unchanged on 15-7 with no further additions made until the half-time whistle.

Match referee Nigel Owens penalized the All Blacks for not rolling away on the 41st minute presenting Foley an opportunity to kick a three-pointer. Foley nailed the kick right in front of the posts to reduce the trail down to just five points.

A controversial decision by the TMO denied Wallabies left-wing Henry Speight a try on the 44th minute.

Another try decision was refereed to the TMO on the 47th minute, this time it was All Blacks hooker Dan Coles who was denied a try fairly all thanks to Foley.

On 51st minute, Foley missed out on a penalty opportunity from close range as the lead stayed at five points.

Left-wing Julian Savea shrugged a tackle to score under the posts on the 54th minute as replacement fly-half Aaron Cruden finally slotted a conversion.

Cruden nailed a penalty on the 65th minute to extend the lead to 15 points.

Savea crossed over for his second try on the 69th minute after turnover ball was spun wide and the Wallabies missed a couple of key tackles.

Coles crossed over for the sixth try of the match for the All Blacks as Cruden missed out on the conversion.

The TMO denied the hosts their seventh try on the 79th minute owing to a forward pass.

The hosts completed a comfortable 37-10 victory as both the sides failed to make any further addition to the scorecard.
