Argentina will miss the services of hooker Agustin Creevy for the upcoming round of the Rugby Championship against Australia in Brisbane following an injury.

The 34-year-old played 48 minutes during the game against New Zealand last weekend at Estadio Velez Sarsfield before leaving the field with a shoulder injury.

Julian Montoya, who replaced Creevy during the game against All Blacks is expected to feature in the starting line-up against the Wallabies.

This also means Santiago Socino is set to make his debut for the Pumas. The 27-year-old played for Hull Ionians in 2013 and featured in four seasons for Newcastle Falcons before joining Jaguares in 2019.

Argentina are currently positioned third in the Rugby Championship table following their 16-20 defeat against All Blacks and will take on Australia and South Africa in the final two rounds on 27th July and 10th August respectively.
